Age Limit:  18 - 38 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification:  Post Graduate with 50% marks from any recognized University or MFC, MBA 50% marks from any recognized University for Post No.1, Post Graduate with 50% marks from any recognized University or Chartered Accountant or Graduate with 55% marks from any recognized University for Post No.2, 50% marks / equivalent Grade in MCA / M.Sc. Information Technology from a recognized University for Post No.3 and Graduation or Post Graduation pass and Diploma / Certificate in Computer from an Institute having ISO Certification for Post No.4.

Application Fee:  Rs.250/- for SC /ST categories and Rs.500/- for all other categories.

Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test 2013

Punjab State Government, Director of SCERT Punjab has invited applications for Teacher Eligibility Test 2013. Other details are given below:

Educational Qualifications:

I. Qualifications for class 1 to 5 (Paper-I):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

II. Qualifications for class 6 to 8 (Paper-II):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Application Fee: General / BC/ OBC Candidates must pay Rs.500/- as application Fee, SC/ST of Candidates must pay Rs.300/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II . General /OBC Candidates who intend to apply for both papers 1 & 2 must pay Rs.1000/- and SC/ST must pay Rs.600/-. Candidates should pay the fee through the Challan and deposit the prescribed fee in the HDFC bank or Online payment through Credit / Debit Card.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination.

Examination Pattern: Paper – I will be for a Person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V, Paper – II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. Candidates who intend to teach both classes can attend for  both paper I & II.
