Age Limit:  Candidate should not have completed  57 years as on 01-07-2013 since the age of superannuation is 58.

Educational Qualification: Post Graduation Degree in the relevant subject or Ph.D and passed in the UGC/ CSIR/ JRF/ NET/ SLET/ SLST as per UGC Norms in the relevant subject (mentioned in the notification) with relevant teaching experience.

Selection Process: Two stages i.e., Certificate Verification and Interview.

Application Fee: Rs.500/- for General and Rs.250/- for SC/ ST and Differently Abled candidates using prescribed challan in any branch of State Bank of India/ Indian Overseas Bank.

Application Form: Candidates can obtain prescribed (OMR) Optical Mark Reader Application Form from any one of the Offices of the Colleges (mentioned in the notification) on payment of Rs.100/- in cash for all candidates from 19-06-2013 to 10-07-2013 by 5.30 PM.

How to Apply:  Submit filled in application form along with two originals of Teaching Experience Certificate (one must to be attached to application form and other must be produced during certificate verification), recent passport size photograph affixed at any of the colleges (mentioned in the notification).

Eligibility to Write TET:
Paper-I:  Higher Secondary Course (10+2 Pattern) and Diploma in Teacher Education in a Recognized Teacher Training Institute /DIET.

Paper-II:  Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Litt.) with Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History and Geography or a Degree with any one of the equivalent subjects from a Recognized University under 10+2+3 Pattern and a Degree in Teacher Education (B.Ed.) from a Recognized University.

Application Form Fee: Candidates may obtain the Application form on payment of Rs.50/- in cash from all the Head Masters of Government Higher Secondary Schools from 17-06-2013 to 01-07-2013.

Examination Fee: Rs.500/- for Gen & OBC Candidates (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/ and differently abled Candidates).

But those candidates shall pay examination fee (if applicable).

4. If you already have Unique ID, please enter the Unique ID and password to view the already available information and update them, if necessary.
5. If you do not have valid ID, please enter all the required particulars without skipping any field.
6.  Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature.
