Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Kolkata has released notification for recruitment of 3136 Trackman, Helper & Other Posts in various Divisions, Workshop and Offices of South Eastern Railway. Other details are given below:

Total No. of Posts: 3136

Name of the Posts:
1. Pointsman-B: 104 Posts
2. Trackman: 1343 Posts
3. Helper-II: 1498 Posts
4. Safaiwala: 96 Posts

Age Limit:  18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2014. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Education Qualification:  Minimum 10th or equivalent. Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service in the Armed force of the Union of India and have passed Army Class-I certificate are eligible.

Selection Process: Written Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and medical examination.

Application Fee: Rs. 100/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft from State Bank of India or any other Nationalized Bank or crossed IPO from any Post Office drawn in favour of the “FA&CAO, South Eastern Railway, 11 Garden Reach Road, Kolkata-700043 payable at “KOLKATA”. (No Fee for SC/ ST, Women, minority communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians’ (Parsis), economically backward classes, PWD, Ex-Servicemen).

Staff Selection Commission North Eastern Region (SSC NER) has advertised notification for the recruitment of Sr Technical Asst Posts (General Central Service, Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) Non-Ministerial in Central Ground Water Board, Govt. of India, Ministry of Water Resources). 1. Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical): 02 Posts
2. Senior Technical Assistant (Geophysics): 02 Posts

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: 

1. Master’s degree in Chemistry or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science for S.No.1 Post

2. Master’s degree in Geophysics or Applied Geophysics for S.No.2 Post.
